In contrast to conventional fracture treatment, osteotomy and precise angles are of great importance in corrective surgery in addition to osteosynthesis.
With our instrument set, we are the first company to have achieved that surgeons are mechanically guided in each of the surgical steps (osteotomy, angulation & osteosynthesis) during the multidimensional osteotomy of the pediatric proximal femur. The instrumentation can be easily adapted to the individual patient both preoperatively and intraoperatively.
Osteosynthesis is performed with the JOY-PAP polyaxial target instrument set and also allows intraoperative corrections as well as patient-specific and polyaxial screw fixation.
The instrumentation for the entire operation results from the following OP steps:
set the
reference wires
osteotomy of

polyaxial
osteosynthesis

The JOY-PAP targeting instrumentation is used for the conversion osteotomy.
