Our philosophy
Our ideas and innovations are born out of the clinical need. From the product idea to the market-ready product, we work intensively with our clinical experts from various fields.
This comprehensive network ensures that we never lose sight of the clinical need in addition to the technology.
Our focus is on improving surgical technology for both sides - users and patients.
Our history
Our history begins with the idea: a polyaxial and angular stable intramedullary nail. In 2013, this idea gave rise to the PolyAxNail working group at Munich University of Applied Sciences, which was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi, eXIST Start-Up program). Our development projects expanded addressing also other implants and instruments of orthopedics and trauma surgery. At the time of our spin-off we included this in the company name: Orthopedics & Traumatology Medical Technology, the OTM. Together with our network of more than 30 surgeons worldwide, we were able to develop more than 10 additional innovations and successfully present them to the medical community.
We were able to achieve this with the support of our strategic investors and medical engineering students an alumni from Bavarian colleges and universities.
